Seven full safety studies have been completed on American Biotech Labs products. In vivo (living animal) tests have been completed, both injected and ingested at silver levels as high as 5000 milligrams per kilogram of a 32 part per million product. 5000 milligrams per kilogram is the equivalent of a 160 pound adult drinking 36 ounces of the American Biotech Labs 10 ppm product at one sitting. LD-50 tests have also been completed at a level of up to 200 times the normal adult dosage. All in vivo tests have shown that the American Biotech Labs products are completely non-toxic at all the levels tested.
Cellular or cyto-toxicity tests have also been completed on both the 10 ppm and also the 22 ppm products. The tests were completed on both human epithelial cells and also on vero or African green monkey cells. The results in all the tests, showed that the products were completely non cyto-toxic to the human and monkey cells tested. In other words, both products were found to be completely safe, they did not hurt the human or monkey cells in any way, shape or form.
Two studies at two independent labs have been completed testing the products against probiotic or helpful bacteria. One study was completed at a microbiology university lab facility and the other was completed at an international biopharma lab. In both studies it was found that the ABL supplement products would not harm the good and useful bacteria in the body at the levels at which they are being used. The argument remains how the product can differentiate between helpful and harmful bacteria, but the science demonstrates in fact that it can.
